Job Title: Auto Sales Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Auto Sales Consultant to join our team at Honda of Frontenac. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling and delivering new and pre-owned vehicles to customers, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive buying experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Sell and deliver a minimum number of vehicles every month to meet sales targets
  • Exhibit a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction by listening to their needs and providing personalized solutions
  • Attend product and sales training courses and sales meetings as requested by manager to stay up-to-date on new products and services
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer on the showroom or lot, providing a welcoming and professional experience
  • Exhibit consultative selling skills by asking questions and listening carefully to customer responses to determine their needs and preferences
  • Explain product performance, application, and benefits to prospective customers, highlighting the value and features of our vehicles
  • Describe all optional equipment available for customer purchase, including features and pricing
  • Maintain a follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a prospect development system to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Log all customer interactions in our CRM system to track sales progress and customer feedback
  • Turn 100% of closed deals to a finance and insurance manager, along with properly completed paperwork
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring that they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork
  • Introduce customers to our service department personnel and emphasize the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in our service department
  • Schedule the first service appointment and follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, and special requests to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively
  • Support our store's online reputation by facilitating customer reviews on different platforms
  • Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to our company's values and policies
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be ready to work in a team environment every day
Qualifications:
  • One year of automotive retail experience is preferred but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management, prioritization, attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask
  • Self-starter, ambitious, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and without supervision
  • Comfortable using multiple methods of communication, including text, email, video, phone, and more
  • Available to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Open to learning new software systems
  • Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
  • Clean driving record and valid driver's license
