About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Representative to join our team responsible for day-to-day and longer-term territory management, bringing in new customers into the entire sales development and customer management life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and utilize territory management plan
  • Identify and cold-call prospects
  • Generate new business by creating and delivering qualified opportunities
  • Make follow-up calls to existing customers - cross-sell and up-sell
  • Handle a variety of prospect calls, internet leads, and convert them into sales
  • Service existing accounts consisting of order follow-ups; complaint handling; resolving credit concerns; sample follow-ups; and other account-related issues
  • Provide Voice of Customer feedback including product quality, performance, and service issues and concerns
  • Communicate the entire offering and value, including product/service features and benefits, prices, and credit terms
  • Provide ongoing sales demand forecasts
  • Negotiate business to close including pricing, sales terms, and other conditions
  • Help provide sales analysis data to external sales team
  • Engage effectively with SFDC and opportunity management process

Requirements

  • BS/BA is required, business-related discipline required
  • Previous outside sales experience essential
  • Experience with CRM and other sales systems and tools
  • Experience in the automotive industry highly desirable
  • Traits: passion for selling, tenacious, Inquisitive

  • The ideal candidate can build and convey compelling messaging and value for the buyer at targeted customers.
  • You should be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges.
  • Above all, you will care deeply about the customer and delight in creating simple and elegant solutions that solve our customers' biggest challenges.
  • Responsible for F2F visits throughout the territory, 50% travel.
  • Automotive affinity is a great asset.
  • Accountable and hands-on mentality.
