Position Title:Indirect Lending Processor
Department:Indirect Lending

Salary Range:$24.43 per hour
Reporting RelationshipsReports To: Indirect Lending Manager
Supervised Positions: None
Position PurposeThe Indirect Lending Processor is responsible for inputting data into the loan system and ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance. This role involves various administrative tasks related to documentation, processing, and closing indirect loans and leases while adhering to established service standards, federal and state regulations, and credit union policies. Daily responsibilities include fostering positive relationships with employees, dealers, and members.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external members, including dealers and co-workers.
- Provide timely and accurate administrative support, including updating loan data, assembling documentation for member loans, reviewing applications, and verifying information for indirect loans and leases.
- Contact dealerships promptly regarding missing documentation necessary for loan disbursement.
- Process loans and leases in the core system.
- Ensure accuracy in indirect loan and lease packages received for funding, adhering to department service standards and approval stipulations.
- Collaborate with management and the lending team to maintain consistency and compliance throughout the loan process.
- Deliver exceptional service to members and dealers, addressing issues as they arise and escalating when necessary.
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to workflow, efficiency, and quality.
- Scan and upload finalized loan documentation to the appropriate system.
- Assist in reviewing and updating lending policies and procedures.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services as appropriate.
- Support members in setting up automatic electronic payments as needed.
- Participate in training new employees.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Performance will be assessed based on core competencies outlined for the position and goals established by Indirect Lending Management.
QualificationsEducation/Certification:· Preferred: 2-year college degree plus 2 years of loan processing experience or a comparable combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge:· Understanding of accounting principles, lending industry guidelines, and strong communication skills. The employee must gain a working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and comply with all BSA regulations.
Experience Required:· Proficiency in PC-based software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Skills/Abilities:· Ability to maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude consistently.
Physical Activities & RequirementsFinger Dexterity: Frequent use of fingers for tasks such as typing and handling small objects.
Talking: Ability to convey detailed instructions and ideas accurately.
Average Hearing: Capable of hearing normal conversations and receiving ordinary information.

Average Visual Abilities: Adequate visual acuity for preparing or inspecting documents.
