Job Overview

Jensen Hughes is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Executive to join our California Region team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new orders and proposals for our professional consulting services, including life safety, fire protection, forensics, and security across major markets.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Operations and other Business Development leaders to align priorities and drive new orders and proposals
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow our consulting services business in California
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the AEC industry
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations and proposals to secure new business
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience selling consulting services in the AEC industry
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Operations and driving orders and proposals for professional consulting services
  • Advanced communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver sales presentations using modern office tools
