HVAC Engineering Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Friedman Real Estate. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of major capital improvement projects across our 18 million square foot portfolio of office, industrial, and retail assets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee the implementation of HVAC mechanical equipment to meet client requirements in large and small projects.
- Create and submit detailed quotes outlining costs and timelines for projects in accordance with deadlines.
- Consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, working with other engineers, project managers, and HVAC service techs as needed.
- Analyze HVAC systems and equipment to identify inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase efficiency.
- Communicate directly with customers, service manager, director of facilities, and property managers to understand project requirements, goals, design specifications, and operational environments.
- Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of service manager, property managers, and service personnel during all project phases.
- Determine facility and equipment specifications, analyze project costs, and prepare budgets.
- Develop capital improvement projects and negotiate associated contracts.
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, building codes, and health and safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience as HVAC Engineering Project Manager or in a similar role.
- Experience in all aspects of physical maintenance, including HVAC systems, building automation systems, and HVAC controls.
- Team leadership and management experience.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Project management skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
