Sales and Marketing Associate Director

The Associate Director of Sales is a key member of the Sales and Marketing team at Sunrise Senior Living. This role is responsible for supporting and assisting the team in achieving the community's occupancy and revenue goals. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the Sales and Marketing team in managing the community's sales and marketing database (CRM) and maintaining appropriate sales collateral.
- Support the scheduling and execution of on-site sales and marketing events, as well as coordinate resident move-in administrative tasks.
- Under the supervision of the Director of Sales, Director of Sales and Marketing, or Sales Specialist, work to advance leads through the sales process, including conducting callouts, taking call-ins, and presenting to internal customers.
- Assist the Executive Director, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Director of Sales in building a trusting and positive relationship with prospects by understanding the Sunrise product and how it meets customer needs.
- Ensure model suite(s)/apartment(s) are well maintained and presentable, and assist in setting, tracking, and accomplishing sales goals in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate effective telephone skills, producing qualified leads and appointments, and manage the move-in process as outlined in the Resident Move-In Checklist.
- Meet with residents and/or family members on the day the Move-In Fee is placed, review the Move-In Packet, and ensure all information is explained.
- Coordinate and facilitate the Resident Assessment with the Resident Care Director and Assisted Living Coordinator/Reminiscence Coordinator.
- Ensure all Sunrise and required state forms are completed by the resident and/or family on or before move-in date, and schedule the Resident Agreement Signing on Move-In day.
- Orientate residents and family members to the community, present the room, and explain telephone and emergency procedures systems and other services.
- Arrange lunch or dinner for residents and family members on Move-In day, and ensure the suite/apartment is ready for Move-In using the Suite Readiness Checklist.
- Communicate any necessary suite/apartment readiness needs with the Maintenance Coordinator, and maintain an open and ongoing dialogue with residents and/or family members from the time the Move-In Fee is placed through Move-In to ensure a smooth transition.
- Initiate communication with residents' physicians and/or family to ensure completion and delivery of the Physicians Statement and any state-specific forms.
- Assist residents and family members in making the emotional connection to the new community through awareness, integration, and socialization techniques and engaging activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident information, and partner with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, promoting Risk Management programs and policies and adhering to safety rules and regulations.
- Practice safety procedures at all times, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), fire extinguishers, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Lockout Tagout.
- Actively participate as a member of a team and commit to working toward team goals, demonstrating the Team Member Credo in daily interactions with others, and committing to serving residents and guests through our Principles of Service.
- Contribute to overall engagement programs and processes, including customer and team member engagement, and attend regular meetings, including Town Hall, Department Team, Cross Over, and others as directed by the Supervisor/Department Coordinator.
- Maintain compliance in assigned required training and all training required by state or other regulating authorities as applicable to this role to ensure that Sunrise standards are always met.
- Support sales team in executing successful sales and marketing events, and perform all other duties as assigned.
