White Horse Village seeks a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director, Resident Life to lead the Resident Services department. This key leadership role is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to the team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident experiences and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance resident engagement, satisfaction, and overall wellbeing.
- Oversee the programming component of the Resident Services department, including outings, in-house programs, events, and creative expression programming.
- Collaborate with the Pathways to Wellness Steering Committee to ensure alignment with the organization's wellbeing philosophy.
- Lead the development of the Independent Living programming calendar, incorporating resident preferences and interests.
- Oversee Wellness Services, including group and individual fitness, cardio/aerobics, and aquatics programming.
- Monitor and manage Ancillary Services, including Transportation and Social Services.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the Resident Life and Wellness team.
- Establish and maintain connections with community agencies, subcontractors, and service providers to ensure required resources for residents.
- Prepare departmental budget and fiscal reports, ensuring fiscal control and accountability.
- Participate in trade associations and networking events to stay current on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional resident experiences and services, with a focus on wellbeing and satisfaction.
