Job Summary

The Tire Freight Handler is a critical role within Xpedient Logistics, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading and unloading of tires from containers and trailers. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manually stack tires into or onto containers, trailers, or pallets, adhering to proper stacking procedures to ensure safety and stability.
  • Properly sort tires before loading or unloading, following paperwork specifications and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Verify the correct and suitable trailers are used, as per paperwork specifications.
  • Accurately provide tire counts by correctly filling out proper paperwork.
  • Execute assigned unload/loading production schedules as assigned by supervisor/site management.
  • Adhere to all corporate and site-specific policies, procedures, safety rules, and OSHA/MSDS standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Ability to handle physical expectations of this role, including lifting up to 70lbs for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
  • Effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to constantly lift, push, pull, or carry objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly.
