POSITION SUMMARY

The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Provident Bank will spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies in collaboration with senior leadership. This role is hands-on and requires the execution of multi-channel campaigns that align with the overall business objectives through various media, including brand enhancement initiatives and product promotions. Key success factors include utilizing analytics to guide decisions, partnering with business leaders to create impactful campaigns that support the company's vision, demonstrating leadership aligned with the organization’s core values, managing external partnerships effectively, and providing strategic insights on growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate and implement a strategic marketing vision that aligns with the organization's objectives and industry developments to foster growth and maintain a competitive advantage. Create and refine the marketing blueprint for the organization, encompassing value propositions, market positioning, segmentation, and marketing mix, ensuring cohesive execution across various regions and market segments. Enhance the organization's brand presence through perception metrics, targeted marketing initiatives, and effective public relations strategies, ensuring consistency in messaging and visual identity across all platforms. Implement a robust marketing strategy that drives customer engagement, generates revenue, and increases product adoption. Oversee all facets of the Bank's marketing operations, including advertising, product management, brand stewardship, public relations, merchandising, and market research. Stay informed about privacy regulations, data protection laws, and ethical marketing practices to ensure compliance and uphold consumer trust. Analyze and propose new market opportunities or customer segments for successful entry. Craft tailored marketing strategies and adjust communication messages to cater to diverse customer needs. Develop communication strategies for pre- and post-merger integration related to M&A activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven leadership experience in developing and promoting innovative initiatives, challenging conventional practices, and driving transformative change. Seasoned communications expert with a successful track record in crafting and executing data-driven integrated marketing strategies that foster growth and enhance engagement. Demonstrated ability to leverage consumer insights and data to inform marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, effectively communicating the organization’s core values and guiding principles through compelling narratives. Ability to adapt to technological advancements, comprehend emerging market trends, and lead with a strategic perspective. Proficient in presenting information to various stakeholders, including senior management and board members.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred.

Professional Experience:

• Over 10 years of successful experience in marketing and communications, managing brand strategy and creative outputs.

• At least 5 years in leadership roles with increasing responsibilities.

Certifications:

• None required.

Work Environment:

• Office environment with flexible workspace options.

• Light lifting (5 to 10 lbs) may be required (e.g., printer paper, storage boxes).

• Occasional bending or overhead lifting may be necessary (e.g., storing files or boxes).

Work is conducted in a standard office setting with moderate noise levels. Travel to client sites and property locations may be necessary.

Potential Hazards:

The primary hazards are those typical of a standard office environment and those associated with commuting. Occasional exposure to conditions present in public forums and meeting venues may occur.
