Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and refine the general ledger while preparing journal entries for asset, liability, revenue, and expense recognition, including payroll, benefit allocations, transactions, prepaids, and accruals.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and engage in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Perform monthly evaluations of the trial balance and general ledger activities to verify account balances and ensure accurate coding of invoices and expenses.
  • Aid in the preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements.
  • Support the documentation and oversight of internal controls.
  • Coordinate expense allocations and assist with intercompany reconciliations.
  • Analyze financial operations to promote business efficiency, including generating forecasts, variance analyses, and other ad hoc projects as necessary.
  • Collaborate on special projects for the Chief Financial Officer.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in process enhancement and streamlining operational policies.
  • 3-6+ years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity, venture capital, with exposure to healthcare and public accounting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required; CPA designation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be highly collaborative.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively while ensuring project completion.
