Job Overview:

In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering fraud support to both internal and external stakeholders. You will communicate the organization’s fraud service offerings and facilitate training and setup of fraud management applications. Your responsibilities will include actively managing and escalating risks and issues that affect customers in your daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to achieve strategic business goals.
  • Oversee the implementation of fraud prevention products and programs.
  • Develop and manage consultation and training services related to fraud incidents, programs, products, or trends for stakeholders.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain documentation related to your work.
  • Draft and supervise the creation of technical documents related to training, incidents, and other necessary materials.
  • Manage processes and tasks associated with alerts from fraud detection systems.
  • Utilize fraud detection tools and technologies effectively.
  • Assist in identifying emerging threats, fraud prevention strategies, and training methodologies.
  • Support initiatives for process improvement and address audit findings.
  • Manage the configuration and updates of customer portfolios in fraud applications, ensuring user interfaces function correctly after system enhancements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to manage project workflows effectively.
  • Stay informed about regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Discover at industry conferences and events.
  • Support leadership functions as required.

Qualifications:

The Basics:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in Customer Service, Payment Services, Fraud, Banking, Finance, Project Management, or a related area.
  • Alternatively, 8+ years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certified Financial Crimes Investigator (CFCI) credential.
  • Experience with SnowFlake or SQL programming languages.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
