Position Overview: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for administering prescribed medications and providing essential personal care services to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in accordance with state regulations.

- Administer medications with precision and at designated times as per physician orders and resident care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medications given and those withheld, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents.
- Document any changes in residents' health status, personal needs, and vital signs.
- Complete incident reports and maintain thorough records for each resident.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and coordinating further medical care as necessary.
- Communicate any concerns regarding residents to the appropriate supervisory staff.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Support residents with medical needs as outlined in their care plans.
- Help with housekeeping tasks, meal service, and laundry as needed.
- Encourage social interaction among residents and facilitate engaging activities.
- Accompany residents on outings when required.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
- Adhere to safety protocols while using equipment and handling materials.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions.
- Report any workplace injuries to a supervisor immediately.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all resident and operational information.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Valid LPN license in the state of employment.
- Experience in medication administration and patient care.
- Basic First Aid certification.
- Experience working with elderly populations.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality care.
- Understanding of nursing practices specific to older adults.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for assisted living facilities.
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
