Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care utilizing the nursing process, demonstrating knowledge and clinical skills of the specialty required on assigned unit.
- Consult with healthcare professionals to provide specialized education and support.
- Ensure patient and workplace safety by preventing errors, accidents, and infections, and reporting potential or actual concerns immediately.
- Promptly complete accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice through networking and research.
Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the primary state.
- Must apply for licensure in secondary state within 90 days.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS certification required.
