Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Tactical Data Link Engineer to join our team at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system integration, tactical data links, and communication systems, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of tactical data link and communication system architectures.
  • Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new system capabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working system integration with a strong understanding of integrating concepts and capabilities into a larger network or mission.
  • Experience working with Link-16.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Willingness to work in a closed area.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by the start date and ultimately obtain a Secret level clearance.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
