About the Role- Assist thousands of Americans in navigating complex healthcare plans by providing accurate and timely information.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, answering calls and resolving customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Utilize standard technology to provide excellent customer service.
- Follow established policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient resolution of customer inquiries.
- Answer calls and assist customers seeking information about healthcare plans.
- Choose the appropriate pre-scripted responses to provide basic general and claims-specific information.
- Follow established and documented policies and standard operating procedures.
- Assist callers in completing online applications and submitting them electronically for processing.
- Complete basic call logs related to phone inquiries.
- Refer calls as required to secondary levels of support.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum six months of customer service/secretarial/telemarketing experience required.
- Must be able to pass customer service assessments.
- Must be able to type a minimum of 20 WPM.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods.
- Experience working with a PC and the Windows operating system required.
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to adhere to an established schedule.
- Must have the ability to follow standard operating procedures and follow established call scripts.
- Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks.
- A proven ability to work as a member of a team required.
