Envisioneering Principal Radio Frequency Engineer / Scientist

Envisioneering is recognized for its expertise in naval electronic warfare (EW) systems innovation. The Principal RF Scientist will serve as the chief scientific authority collaborating with the Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) Tactical Electronic Warfare Division (TEWD). This position entails working alongside government scientists to advance existing initiatives and propose groundbreaking solutions to meet the U.S. Navy's electronic warfare requirements. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in RF spectrum technologies and a profound understanding of RF energy applications within the defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in the research and advancement of RF technologies
  • Conduct laboratory and field evaluations of prototype systems
  • Partner with government entities on directed energy weaponry and RF countermeasure initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Over 20 years of experience in a physics or engineering domain (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Specialization in EW Systems and high-power microwave technologies
  • Experience in digital signal processing and communication systems
  • Possession of Top-Secret Clearance
Educational Background:
  • Master's degree in Physics or Engineering discipline
SALARY RANGE: $140,000 - $160,000.00

Additional Requirements: Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and must be U.S. citizens. An active DoD Top Secret security clearance is required.
