Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous CAD Drafter to contribute to our projects. In this role, you will be instrumental in converting conceptual MEP designs into precise construction documents. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in drafting and modeling with AutoCAD software, demonstrating a strong commitment to precision and detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed MEP drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers to create comprehensive construction documentation.
  • Ensure all drawings and models comply with industry standards and company protocols.
  • Assist in the coordination with various disciplines including Mechanical, Architectural, and Civil.
  • Review and modify drawings based on input from project managers and clients.
  • Stay informed about the latest software updates and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD software; experience with REVIT is advantageous.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word.
  • Prior experience in an MEP firm or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Architectural.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
  • Able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) concepts is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to ambiguity, and driven to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong written and verbal communication abilities.
