Job Overview

We are in search of a skilled construction site manager with experience in overseeing projects for the NYCSCA. This role involves managing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution for various construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct all phases of the construction project from initial planning through to final execution.
  • Distribute resources effectively to ensure project success.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of onsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Engage with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, municipal officials, and clients.
  • Uphold high standards of craftsmanship that comply with original designs and specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations as per OSHA and NYC DOB standards.
  • Request necessary materials and supplies from the procurement department as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documentation.
  • Completion of mandatory safety training, including possession of an SST card.
  • Strong technical acumen in construction practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective team management.
  • Familiarity with construction management software tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines.

Note: SCA job sites typically operate from 4 PM to 12 AM.
