Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, scope modifications, and other project documentation utilizing Procore.
  • Act as the main liaison for subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with key stakeholders to update on project status.
  • Identify project risks and suggest proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Initiate and coordinate essential project meetings with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication with the project team.
  • Develop and manage project timelines using MS Project.
  • Monitor construction progress and provide updates as necessary.
  • Accurately interpret and manage construction drawings and documentation.
  • Prepare and submit specifications as required.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to establish project scope and delivery methods.
  • Utilize knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards to guarantee quality and safety.
  • Negotiate and manage prime contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements while safeguarding financial interests and nurturing positive client relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external parties, including clients and vendors.
  • Oversee the design process to ensure timely delivery of quality and budget-conscious documents.
  • Lead and manage a small to mid-sized team, ensuring effective and independent work.
  • Create and validate financial forecasts for upcoming project activities.
  • Develop bid packages and solicit proposals in accordance with client policies.
  • Identify and address potential risks, formulating strategies to mitigate their impact or leverage opportunities.
  • Develop practical phasing plans and schedules that meet end-user requirements using MS Project or similar tools.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Build relationships within client organizations to coordinate work and make effective decisions.
  • Exhibit exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a proactive and independent work ethic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to understand ARCH & MEP drawings and reports, focusing on identifying potential improvements for project execution.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management is preferred.
  • Experience in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience with healthcare construction projects is highly preferred.
