Position Title: Senior Litigation Paralegal

POSITION SUMMARY: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is in search of a meticulous and analytical Senior Paralegal to enhance our Environmental Litigation division. This role is based in Denver, CO, and is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment while supporting a team of legal professionals engaged in litigation across various jurisdictions.

COMPENSATION:

$34-$48/hour

The actual salary will be determined based on multiple factors, including geographical location, skill set, experience, and qualifications relevant to the position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing cases from the initial stages of litigation through to post-trial motions.
  • Regularly communicating with clients to gather necessary documentation.
  • Handling court filings, document management, and review, as well as responding to discovery requests and coordinating depositions.
  • Assisting in the oversight of critical deadlines.
  • Managing electronic information and document review processes, including bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and conducting searches in complex litigation scenarios.
  • Supporting attorneys in formulating case facts and strategies.
  • Creating privilege logs.
  • Preparing exhibits for trial.
  • Providing assistance during hearings and trials.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Possession of a paralegal certificate or compliance with Bus. & Prof. Code § 6450.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience as a paralegal in complex litigation settings.
  • Proven experience in trial preparation and support throughout the trial process.
  • Familiarity with managing cases from pre-litigation through to post-trial motions.
  • Ability to draft correspondence, pleadings, and legal documents for clients and opposing counsel under attorney supervision.
  • Proficiency in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with E-Discovery and legal software such as Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, and OneLegal.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, a reliable team player, and capable of managing multiple time-sensitive projects effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Experience with case management software is advantageous.
