Job Summary

Maintain the integrity of the Intergroup Dialogue (IGD) Center's mission by supporting the development, planning, implementation, promotion, and evaluation of IGD programs and events. Collaborate with the IGD Center Director to ensure alignment with the Center's mission and the College's strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate logistics for campus-wide, regional, and national events sponsored or co-sponsored by the IGD Center.
  • Assist in the monitoring and management of the Center's social media presence.
  • Manage and maintain the Center budget, including creating expense reports, submitting check requests, reconciling expenses in Workday, and tracking annual spending.

  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated dependable, reliable, and efficient follow-through on assigned tasks.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and event planning skills.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the varied perspectives that faculty, staff, students, and alums bring to their work, including academic perspectives and experiences deriving from race, socio-economic status, ethnicity, ability, gender, religion, sexuality, and other intersectional identities.
Additional Information
  • This is a ten-month position.
  • Up to 15 hours/week, with the typical workload 10 hour/week spread across three days/week.
  • The exact work schedule will be determined in consultation with the supervisor.
  • Occasional evening or weekend support may be required to support signature events.
