Job Summary

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of hourly union payrolls, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Review employee timecards, correct discrepancies, and process payroll using Paylocity software.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with employees at all levels, both internally and externally, and think globally.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support for supervisor and employee questions regarding payroll-related issues.
  • HR Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including earned personal/sick time, accruals, service awards/anniversaries, and FMLA spreadsheets.
  • Employee Compliance: Assist with employee compliance in policies, safety, and the overall business strategy of the organization.
  • Benefits Administration: Assist with programs and activities such as annual benefits, open enrollment communications, year-round wellness initiatives, recognition programs for length of service, retirement, picnics, and charitable events.
  • HR Support: Provide support to the Human Resources department in other day-to-day functions.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience with payroll processing preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing, ability to read and interpret documents, ability to write routine reports and correspondence, ability to speak effectively before groups, and ability to comprehend and apply principles of business math skills.
  • Software Knowledge: Paylocity and Kronos software knowledge preferred.
  • Other: Attention to detail/accuracy, ability to multi-task and prioritize, time management skills, and ability to foster and support a teamwork environment.
