Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the payroll functions of the organization, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payrolls, and compliance with government regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process weekly payroll reporting, including collecting time, entering payroll changes, and maintaining pay records.
  • Comply with federal, state, and collective bargaining agreements related to payroll, overtime, and holidays.
  • Research and implement payroll law changes at federal and state levels.
  • Manage employee files and monitor compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in performing all payroll functions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and judgment skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of Excel and other Microsoft programs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working Conditions

This is an exempt position and does not qualify for overtime pay. Travel may be required.
