Job Summary

The Guest Service Agent (On-Call) is a key member of the Front Office team, responsible for providing exceptional service to guests during their stay. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service: Greet and welcome guests, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the PBX console, ensure accurate logging and delivery of packages, mail, and messages, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Room Reservations: Take room reservations, quote rates, and process check-ins and checkouts efficiently.
  • Communication: Use proper two-way radio etiquette, communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, and maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Problem-Solving: Anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve problems as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field helpful.
  • Experience: Experience in a hotel or related field preferred; customer service experience a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and proficiency in computer systems.
  • Physical Demands: Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
