Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Development Engineer to join our team in Tewksbury, Massachusetts. As a key member of our Air & Missile Defense Software Department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing real-time embedded software, application software, and tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the requirements, design, development, and testing of software systems
  • Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
  • Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering
  • Follow established development practices and processes to maintain the configuration management of software products
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of experience
  • Experience in developing software using object-oriented C/C++, Java, or other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system
  • Experience developing software in a team-based development environment, preferably Agile/SCRUM, DevOps, and test automation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Experience designing and developing real-time embedded software
  • Experience with Network Communication Protocols, Shell Scripting, software development tools, and embedded RTOSs
