Position Overview

Texas Health Care PLLC is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is essential in providing exceptional patient care within our healthcare facility.

The NRCMA operates under the guidance of healthcare professionals and is integral to ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Key responsibilities include accurately measuring vital signs such as blood pressure, weight, temperature, pulse, and respiration, in accordance with established clinical protocols.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm - No Weekends/No Call

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a physician or surgical office setting.
  • Certification as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • A strong desire to learn about vascular medicine and grow from the knowledge gained in the practice.
  • Experience with surgery scheduling, insurance verification, pre-certifications, and authorizations is required.
  • Familiarity with NextGen EHR is preferred; however, experience with any EHR system is mandatory.
  • Ability to perform general patient care and wound management in accordance with office standards.
  • Scheduling patients for diagnostic tests and ensuring follow-up for test completion.
  • Documenting patient care plans, visit reasons, testing, and examination results as directed by the healthcare provider.
  • Preparing, cleaning, and sterilizing medical instruments while maintaining equipment logs and adhering to disposal protocols.
  • Keeping patient examination rooms stocked, clean, and organized.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are required or must be obtained within the first six months of employment.

  • Bi-lingual skills are preferred but not mandatory.
