Position Overview

Texas Health Care PLLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) to join our team in providing exceptional patient care.

Under the supervision of healthcare professionals, the NRCMA will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting preliminary assessments, including vital signs such as blood pressure, weight, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Assisting with surgical scheduling, insurance verification, and obtaining necessary pre-authorizations.
  • Documenting patient care plans, visit reasons, and examination results accurately in the medical records.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in patient exam rooms and ensuring that medical instruments are properly sterilized and logged.
  • Providing general patient care and wound management in accordance with established protocols.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm - No Weekends/No Call

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physician or surgical office setting.
  • Certification as a Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited institution.
  • Desire to learn and grow in the field of vascular medicine.
  • Experience with NextGen EHR is preferred; however, familiarity with any EHR system is required.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory or must be obtained within the first six months of employment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, demonstrate professionalism, and maintain a positive attitude towards patients and their families. Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
