Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare accurate and timely entries to general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Controller on various ad hoc projects to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work of Staff Accountants to ensure high-quality results.
  • Supervise the AP & AR department to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of related accounting experience.
  • Strong Excel skills to analyze and present financial data.

Compensation

$75,000 - $85,000 per year.
