Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Officer to join our team at Finance Factors Ltd. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating retail mortgage loans, building and maintaining referral source relationships, and developing new business from pre-determined target market segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market and sell mortgage products and services to existing and new customers.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets through regular review of production results.
  • Implement and execute programs to solicit new business from identified target markets.
  • Participate in determining company objectives and contribute to overall performance and profitability.
  • Ensure high-quality customer service standards and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Identify and provide mortgage loan system improvements.
  • Complete mortgage loans by monitoring collection, verification, and preparation of mortgage loan documentation.
  • Attend sales meetings and contribute information and status on assigned target markets.
  • Attend and assist in trades shows and other outside events for assigned target markets.
Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Loan Officer or equivalent experience.
  • NMLS registration.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Valid Hawaii State driver's license.
  • Proficient with computers, mortgage loan software, and Microsoft suite of products.
  • Strong understanding of state and federal laws, including FDIC compliance regulations, the bank secrecy act, branch security and safety requirements, and other regulations.
  • Financial and accounting experience/knowledge to advise applicants on loan options.
  • Salesmanship skills to successfully close new loans and convert leads into clients.
  • Service orientation to prioritize clients' best interests.
  • Good communication skills to discuss complex and sensitive subjects with clarity and tact.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
