Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the on-boarding process to ensure all required information for servicing the loan is properly interfaced.
  2. Monitor ongoing ARM change requirements.
  3. Process daily mortgage loan payments and reconcile various general ledger and other financial accounts.
  4. Manage the off-boarding process, from providing payoff quotes through preparing documents to release the lien on the collateral.

Requirements

  1. Associate degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience required.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration preferred.
  3. 3 years' experience in mortgage banking/mortgage servicing, or related experience required.
  4. Good understanding of mortgage loan terms, documents, and loan programs such as Federal Housing Administration, Veterans Administration, and Conventional loan programs.
  5. Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers to resolve inquiries.
  6. Able to understand complex legal documents, regulatory requirements, investor requirements, and Bank policies.
  7. Must possess analytical skills to research, resolve, and communicate issues with customers, lending, and origination staff, and management.
  8. Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  9. Must be organized and detail-oriented.
  10. Able to handle confidential matters judiciously.
  11. Self-starter and able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  12. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
