Key Responsibilities:
The essential functions of this role include:

  • Designing plumbing systems, including calculations, layouts, equipment selection, and coordination.
  • Developing drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Conducting code reviews to ensure compliance.
  • Reviewing and processing shop drawings and submittals.
  • Performing quantity take-offs and preparing cost estimates.
  • Managing projects and engaging with clients.
  • Mentoring junior technicians and engineers.

Qualifications:
What you bring to the table:

  • Master or Journey Plumber license is required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in commercial plumbing design as an engineering MEP consultant or plumbing contractor.
  • Experience with architectural projects such as educational institutions, municipal buildings, healthcare facilities, and commercial properties is preferred.
  • Prior experience coordinating projects from start to finish with contractors and clients is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD is preferred.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills are essential for a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
