raSmith is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead our Structural Services division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the structural design of various building projects, managing project budgets, and developing and managing a portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Lead business development efforts for structural building projects, identifying new opportunities and developing strategies to grow our client base.
- Project Management: Serve as project manager on structural building projects, managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Structural Design: Perform and lead the structural design of various building projects, including development of design documents, calculations, and specifications.
- Team Management: Manage Project Engineers and BIM specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Quality Control: Perform quality control and construction administration duties to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in structural design of buildings and related structures.
- Licensure: Professional Engineer Licensure required. Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure preferred.
- Skills: Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs, including Revit.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
