Job Summary

The University of Pennsylvania seeks a highly skilled and experienced Associate Director of Administration to join its team. This key role will oversee the non-clinical and support clinical administrative and financial activities of the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care (PACC) in the Department of Medicine, including a $36M annual budget in grants, gifts, endowments, and other university funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the administration of research-related funds, gift and endowment funds, and other operating funds within PACC.
  • Provide high-level review of all PACC research funding on a monthly basis.
  • Develop and administer grants and operational budgets, and manage post-award activities.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with sponsor guidelines and OMB Uniform Guidance.
  • Lead the team in providing business services, including computing services, facilities management, recruitment, and interfacing with collaborators.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree is preferred.
