Job Overview
In the Electrophysiology (EP) division, Abbott is at the forefront of advancing heart disease treatment through pioneering medical technologies aimed at atrial fibrillation, empowering individuals to reclaim their health and continue their lives.

Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Specialist II, you will:
  • Provide engineering, sales, educational, and technical support in response to inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients, and sales teams regarding EP products.
  • Work independently while identifying and implementing effective business practices to enhance operational processes.
  • Act as a clinical liaison between the medical community and the organization, fostering strong relationships with customers and sharing product expertise.
  • Conduct training sessions and programs on EP products for healthcare professionals.
  • Offer insights and feedback to management regarding market trends and the development of next-generation products.
  • Assist in regional EP procedural case coverage and provide support to EP Sales Representatives in various capacities.
  • Continuously enhance your engineering, sales, and technical skills in alignment with the Arrhythmia Management strategy.
  • Stay informed about developments in your field, regulatory requirements, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of company and competitor products.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Bio-Medical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent healthcare experience.
  • Certification on EP products.
  • A minimum of 6 months in a Clinical Specialist position and at least 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Proven performance in achieving or exceeding expectations in recent evaluations.
  • Experience as a primary mapper for a minimum of 15 cases per month over 6-12 consecutive months.
  • Ability to enhance the utilization of Abbott Advanced Mapping and Ablation Tools.
  • Compliance with vendor credentialing requirements, including potential vaccination for COVID-19.
