Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Financial Service Associate to join our team at Five County Credit Union. As a Financial Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, processing transactions, and assisting with new account openings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with new account openings, including gathering required documentation and explaining account features and benefits to members.
  • Upsell and cross-sell credit union products and services to members, promoting financial well-being and growth.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and credit union policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Basic math and computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
