Position Summary:

The Automotive Guest Service Consultant role can be either full-time or part-time, offering an hourly wage based on business needs. This position acts as a key holder and assumes managerial responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or during peak times. The Consultant is tasked with delivering an exceptional customer experience while promoting our automotive repair services and tire products.

Compensation: $17 per hour, commensurate with experience and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete the training program to effectively implement the Tire Warehouse sales process.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers, both in-store and over the phone, engaging them, scheduling appointments, and building trust while clearly communicating service offerings.
  • Assist management with various guest service tasks, including work order completion and register operations.
  • Act as a secondary key carrier, responsible for essential opening and closing duties.
  • Adhere to all financial policies and procedures, collaborating with management to address customer service issues and explore business opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively about all products and services offered by Tire Warehouse.
  • Follow company policies and governmental standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized customer waiting area.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to accurately document sales orders and explain services.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

This position operates in an automotive service environment, which may involve exposure to moderate noise levels, weather conditions, and various automotive chemicals. Candidates must be able to perform tasks associated with the role effectively.
