Head of Food Safety and Quality Assurance & SQF Specialist
Gpac is in search of a seasoned Head of Food Safety and Quality Assurance & SQF Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. This position, reporting directly to the General Manager, plays a crucial role in managing the implementation of Food Quality Control and Quality Assurance initiatives aimed at fostering ongoing quality enhancement of our products and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of QA/QC and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Champion the SQF certification process
- Act as the principal SQF specialist
- Design and oversee the food safety strategy (HACCP)
- Collaborate on R&D initiatives to uphold food safety and quality
- Establish and uphold quality controls and documentation
- Direct and synchronize quality programs at the facility level
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Management, or a related field
- At least 15 years of experience in quality management within the food production sector
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing systems
