Job Overview

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geosynthetics Installation Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that geosynthetic materials are installed in compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geosynthetic materials and a proven track record of ensuring quality installations. You will work closely with our site managers, general contractors, and engineers to perform inspections, monitor testing, and report on geosynthetic installations across various job sites in the Southeastern United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of geosynthetic installations to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Monitor and document all stages of geosynthetic installation, including preparation of subgrade, placement of geosynthetic materials, and test results.
  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide input on geosynthetics installation best practices and quality control measures.
  • Provide training and guidance to CQA team members on proper geosynthetics installation techniques and quality standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies related to geosynthetics installation and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education (GED).
  • 2-3 years of experience in solid waste/geosynthetic discipline.
  • Progressive experience in the observation and construction administration of liner installation and soil testing.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for conveying inspection findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
