Position Overview:

Accountable for the concluding elements of loss mitigation within Loss Mitigation Underwriting and Loss Mitigation Closing. Ensures that all responsibilities are executed in alignment with the company's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable U.S. state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafts final modification documents, distributes to the borrower, processes all incoming modification documents, verifies for precision, makes decisions, and coordinates the execution of modifications.
  • Manages the fulfillment aspect of closing and booking loan modifications, short sales, and deeds in lieu of foreclosure.
  • Handles GNMA buyout requests/redelivery and FNMA reclassification requests.
  • Monitors systems to guarantee the prompt and accurate receipt of investor funds.
  • Conducts audits of all system modifications within the modification booking process.
  • Clears suspense items and requests final escrow analysis.
  • Oversees all foreclosure timelines and guidelines for various investors, including FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC.
  • Submits and tracks title recordings, collaborating with vendors as necessary.
  • Responsible for validating loan positions and closing loss mitigation workstations in MSP.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in Loss Mitigation Underwriting and Loss Mitigation Closing is essential.
  • Must be able to work full-time, 5 days a week.
  • Experience in booking loan modifications, investor reporting, and system adjustment updates is required.
  • Exclusive experience with MSP/Black Knight is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Loss Mitigation Solutions Tool, VALERI, SMDU, and/or Workout Prospector is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of investor-related systems, including WPII, HSSN, and FHAC is required.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
