Deputy Director of Facilities Engineering

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Facilities Engineering to join our team at the U.S. Marine Corps. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in directing the facilities engineering, maintenance, and management of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Direct the planning, development, and execution of facilities engineering projects
- Manage and coordinate the maintenance and management of facilities
- Provide oversight and guidance to subordinates
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for facilities management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
- Must possess a current valid United States driver's license
- Must possess a current Professional Engineer or Architect license
- At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
- Experience in managing the facilities' life cycle, including installation master planning, project development, engineering, maintenance, and demolition
- Experience in providing oversight and guidance to subordinates
- Bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET
- Or a combination of education and experience that furnished a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering
