About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solutions Specialist to join our Digital Solutions team at Staples. As a Technical Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining network equipment, services, and devices to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain network equipment, including Cisco routers and switches, Extreme Networks Wi-Fi, and Zebra, Kyocera printers, and multifunction devices.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to local and remote associates, including Windows 11 PC and Apple Mac device support, Microsoft 365 support, and network printer configuration.
  • Project Management: Assist in small to large project work for projects initiated by both Staples and 3rd party vendors, including gathering business requirements, developing functional specifications, and reviewing with Technical Engineers.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Maintain all relevant infrastructure documentation within Word, Visio, Excel, and adhere to Service Levels while working on support tickets in ServiceNow.
Requirements
  • Education: BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience with WAN, LAN, and Wireless technologies, including Cisco routers and switches and Extreme Networks Wi-Fi.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, PC imaging & software deployment systems (SCCM), Apple/Mac imaging via JAMF, solid understanding of TCP/IP LAN and WAN networks, Cisco stack and networking knowledge, and good understanding of RF and security technologies.
  • Availability: Availability to work after hours and weekends to support major projects or stability issues as needed, and travel (day trips) in Missouri - 10%.
