Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Administrator to support various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations across recruitment, employee records management, compliance, and general HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment Support:
- Assist with job postings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding process, including paperwork and orientation logistics.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain and update employee records, both physical and electronic.
- Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Benefits Administration:
- Support administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments and terminations.
- Assist employees with benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with external vendors to manage benefit plans effectively.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring they align with current legislation.
- Support compliance efforts related to employment laws and regulations.
- Help organize and participate in audits and investigations as needed.
- HR Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review.
- Analyze data trends to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- General Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining supplies.
- Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in HR administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Google Apps for Business (especially Sheets and Docs).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- This is a remote-friendly position.
- Regular business hours.
- Paid as a 1099 Contractor.
- Hourly Rate is $25-30/hr.
- We estimate 10-15 hours per week as a baseline.
