Client Security Architect
Location: Remote in Singapore
Special Language Requirement: Proficiency in English and Japanese, both written and spoken, in a technical context.

Overview:
The Client Security Architect is expected to possess extensive experience with a diverse range of security technologies and solutions. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting security configurations that facilitate effective monitoring and service delivery. The architect will collaborate with clients to design optimal security configurations tailored to their needs, ensuring robust monitoring capabilities within our operational framework. A solid understanding of fundamental IT security tools and networking principles is essential, alongside a client-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve in an advisory capacity, engaging directly with clients to enhance their technology investments.
  2. Demonstrate experience with enterprise-grade Anti-Virus solutions, Next-Gen AV, EDR, and Microsoft Defender toolsets.
  3. Possess knowledge of essential network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, and IPSec.
  4. Utilize Splunk SIEM technologies or equivalent security information and event management solutions.
  5. Manage and configure Microsoft Defender security suites, including:
    1. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
    2. Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
    3. Microsoft Defender for Identity & Azure AD Identity Protection.
    4. Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS).
    5. Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
    6. CrowdStrike Falcon.
    7. CarbonBlack Defense.
  6. Exhibit knowledge of technology solutions in areas such as:
    1. Cybersecurity tools and suites mentioned above.
    2. Data and metadata within Network/Cloud environments.
  7. Demonstrate an ownership mentality, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve significant business objectives.
  8. Possess experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting security tools.
Qualifications:
  1. Strong collaboration skills.
  2. Familiarity with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.
  3. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related IT field. Exceptional candidates with proven experience in security tools and systems administration will also be considered.
  4. Ability to manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and productivity.
  5. Effective written and verbal communication skills, capable of simplifying complex technical subjects.
  6. Interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a globally distributed team.
  7. Ability to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal teams and clients.
  8. Experience in a client-facing role, assisting customers with service issues and advising on best practices related to supported security tools.
  9. Basic understanding of:
    1. SIEM.
    2. SSL Decryption.
    3. Malware Detection.
    4. HIDS/NIDS.
    5. Network Monitoring Tools.
    6. Case Management Systems.
    7. Knowledge Bases.
    8. Web Security Gateways.
    9. Email Security.
    10. Data Loss Prevention.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in both security tool administration and systems administration.
  2. 1-4 years of hands-on experience in Security support or Systems Administration.
  3. Certifications such as Security +, CEH, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are preferred.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud IT Infrastructure tools.
  5. Understanding of programming or scripting languages, with the ability to execute basic database queries.
