Overview:
The Client Security Architect is expected to possess extensive experience in a diverse range of security technologies and solutions. This role involves the maintenance and troubleshooting of security configurations that facilitate effective management and support. Collaborate with clients to design optimal security configurations that enhance monitoring capabilities within our service delivery framework. A solid understanding of fundamental IT security tools and networking principles is essential, along with a strong client-facing and customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve in an advisory capacity to assist clients in maximizing their technology investments.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency with enterprise-grade Anti-Virus solutions, Next-Gen AV, EDR, and Microsoft Defender toolsets.
  3. Possess a comprehensive understanding of essential network protocols (DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, IPSec, etc.).
  4. Utilize Splunk SIEM technologies or other SIEM security platforms.
  5. Manage and configure Microsoft Defender security suites and other BV security applications, including:
    1. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
    2. Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
    3. Microsoft Defender for Identity & Azure AD Identity Protection.
    4. Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS).
    5. Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
    6. CrowdStrike Falcon.
    7. CarbonBlack Defense.
  6. Possess knowledge of technology solutions in one or more of the following areas:
    1. Cybersecurity point solution tools and suites mentioned above.
    2. Data/metadata in Network/Cloud environments.
  7. Exhibit an ownership mindset, partnering effectively with functional teams to achieve significant business objectives.
  8. Demonstrate experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting security tools.
Qualifications:
  1. Strong teamwork capabilities.
  2. Familiarity with Mac OS, Windows, and Unix operating systems.
  3. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related IT field. Exceptional candidates with proven experience in security tools and systems administration will also be considered.
  4. Ability to manage high-pressure situations productively and professionally.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
  6. Interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration with a globally distributed team.
  7. Capability to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal operations teams and clients.
  8. Experience in a client-facing role, assisting customers with service issues and advising on best practices related to supported security tools.
  9. Basic knowledge of the following:
    1. SIEM.
    2. SSL Decryption.
    3. Malware Detection.
    4. HIDS/NIDS.
    5. Network Monitoring Tools.
    6. Case Management Systems.
    7. Knowledge Bases.
    8. Web Security Gateways.
    9. Email Security.
    10. Data Loss Prevention.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in security tool administration and systems administration.
  2. 1-4 years of hands-on experience in Security support or Systems Administration.
  3. Certifications such as Security +, CEH, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are preferred.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud IT Infrastructure tools.
  5. Understanding of programming/scripting languages and the ability to execute basic database queries.
