Client Security Architect
Location: Remote in Singapore
Special Language Requirement: Must be able to speak, read and write fluently in English and Japanese in a technical setting.

Overview:
The Client Security Architect is responsible for leveraging a diverse range of security technologies and solutions. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting security configurations, administration, management, and support. Collaborate with clients to design optimal security configurations that facilitate monitoring within our platform and service delivery processes. A solid understanding of essential IT security tools and network principles is crucial, along with a strong client-facing/customer-service orientation.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Serve in an advisory capacity, engaging with clients to enhance their technology investments.
  2. Experience with enterprise-grade Anti-Virus solutions, Next-Gen AV, EDR, and Microsoft Defender toolsets.
  3. Comprehension of fundamental network protocols (DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP, UDP, SSL, SSH, SCP, FTP, IPSec, etc.).
  4. Familiarity with Splunk SIEM technologies or other SIEM security platforms.
  5. Management and configuration of Microsoft Defender security suites, including:
    1. Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
    2. Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
    3. Microsoft Defender for Identity & Azure AD Identity Protection.
    4. Microsoft Cloud Application Security (MCAS).
    5. Microsoft Azure Sentinel.
    6. CrowdStrike Falcon.
    7. CarbonBlack Defense.
  6. Knowledge of technology solutions in areas such as:
    1. Cybersecurity tools and suites mentioned above.
    2. Data/metadata in Network/Cloud environments.
  7. Exhibit an ownership mentality, collaborating with functional teams to achieve significant business goals.
  8. Experience in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting security tools.
Qualifications:
  1. Strong teamwork capabilities.
  2. Proficient in Mac OS, Windows, and Unix systems.
  3. Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related IT field. Exceptional candidates with relevant experience in security tools and systems administration may also be considered.
  4. Ability to navigate high-pressure situations effectively and professionally.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and comprehensible manner.
  6. Interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration with a globally distributed team.
  7. Ability to provide tuning recommendations for security tools to internal teams and clients.
  8. Experience in a client-facing role, assisting customers with service issues and advising on best practices related to supported security tools.
  9. Basic understanding of:
    1. SIEM.
    2. SSL Decryption.
    3. Malware Detection.
    4. HIDS/NIDS.
    5. Network Monitoring Tools.
    6. Case Management Systems.
    7. Knowledge Bases.
    8. Web Security Gateways.
    9. Email Security.
    10. Data Loss Prevention.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience in security tool administration and systems administration.
  2. 1-4 years of hands-on experience in Security support or Systems Administration.
  3. Certifications such as Security +, CEH, Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are preferred.
  4. Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud IT Infrastructure tools.
  5. Understanding of programming/scripting languages and the ability to execute basic database queries.
