We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Customer Service Representative to join our team at Public Storage. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling storage solutions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Sales: Sell storage solutions to customers, including storage units, packing and moving supplies, and other related products.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning restrooms, and performing other tasks as needed.
- Inventory Management: Conduct daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability, and make sure spaces are ready to rent.
- Financial Transactions: Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits, and assist with processing payments and making reminder and collection calls when required.
Requirements:
- Experience: Successful candidates come from a variety of customer service centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food or other service-based companies.
- Transportation: Our employees are required to have a valid driver's license and utilize their own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business.
Benefits:
- Steady 20 hours per week, with 4-6 hour shifts, 2-4 days, or (2) 8-hours shifts per week between the hours of 9 am and 6 pm (weekends only 'til 5 pm).
- Our Part-Time employees become eligible for Benefits by working an average of 20+ hours, including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with match, paid time off, sick time, and flex spending.
