Job Summary

As a Sales Manager at First American, you will be responsible for leading a team of Sales Representatives within a defined sales territory. Your primary focus will be on managing performance, coaching, mentoring, hiring, and career development. You will develop and execute the sales strategy for assigned territory by leveraging best practice frameworks, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Your role will also involve collaborating with internal marketing teams to develop local, regional, and/or divisional marketing content to drive brand awareness to support sales strategy. Additionally, you will utilize various accountability tools to assess and evaluate the success of the sales strategy and take corrective action when needed. You will also be responsible for actively recruiting, retaining, and developing talent, holding employees accountable for results, leading change, managing conflict, and fostering collaboration. You will facilitate work and problem resolution between work groups and may lead cross-functional/inter-departmental projects and/or process improvement efforts. You will also develop and modify policies and processes that impact the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Sales Representatives within a defined sales territory

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-7 years of directly related experience
  • 3-5 years demonstrated experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Demonstrated success establishing, leading, and maintaining effective working relationships at the Department Management level
  • May require a valid driver's license
