Job Description

Sulzer USA Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Treatment Strategy Director to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for driving the treatment strategy as part of the Sulzer 2028 initiative for the Headworks, Filtration, and Industrial Treatment segments in the US and Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the management team and segment National Sales Managers to achieve revenue targets by segment and product line.
  • Develop strategic plans that support the Sulzer 2028 growth plan, working with the Head of Sales North America, the North American Director of Business Development, and the reporting National Sales Managers.
  • Hold yourself, your team, and other members of the management team to high standards and total accountability for achieving results.
  • Develop budgets and business plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Ensure territory coverage is complete and specialized for each specific sub-segment.
  • Provide input to product development by assessing market trends, regional feedback, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the Company at selected regional and national trade shows and conferences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years progressive regional sales experience in the Treatment industry.
  • History of consistently achieving revenue targets.
  • Ability to speak intelligently on various treatment equipment and processes.
  • Must be able to travel when needed to achieve targets.
  • Ability to hold monthly performance meetings and hold under-performers accountable.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
