Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Cashier Attendant to join our team at Jacobsen|Daniels Operational Services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the airport's parking services, providing exceptional customer experience and ensuring smooth operations.

About the Role

The Cashier Attendant will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests by acknowledging and greeting them, as well as providing excellent customer service. As the face of parking services, they must possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and self-motivated.

Main Responsibilities

  • Greet arriving guests and provide courteous service while handling cash transactions, credit card payments, or validating tickets.
  • Verify the provided change and necessary supplies at the start of each shift, following company procedures.
  • Process exception transactions, such as lost tickets, grace period tickets, and complete the applicable forms according to company policy.
  • Provide accurate change and issue receipts for all fee transactions.
  • Accurately complete daily shift paperwork by recording transactions, vehicle information, and guest data.
  • Aid guests with special requests and ensure their keys are secure.
  • Report any issues or potential problems that may impact guest vehicles' security and respond to emergency situations when required.
  • Promote exceptional customer service, staying alert to guests' needs and resolving complaints within scope.
  • Notify supervisors and/or Security of unusual events, missing items, or alleged theft.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function in a team setting and work independently.
  • Knowledge of parking industry principles and practices.
  • 1 year of experience in hospitality, including guest service, preferably in the parking industry.

Working Conditions

The Cashier Attendant will primarily work indoors but may occasionally be exposed to outdoor elements, such as heat, rain, snow, and cold temperatures. Regular standing, sitting, and walking are required, along with specific vision abilities and mental demands.
