Project Engineer II

We value our people as our most valuable asset. As a Project Engineer II, you will assist the Project Manager with various project-related functions, including planning and coordinating onsite construction activities for designated projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Project Manager in developing and nurturing client relationships
  • Coordinate purchasing, procurement, subcontracts, and project schedules
  • Monitor and control project construction through administrative direction of on-site superintendents and other field and office personnel
  • Responsible for profit management of assigned projects
  • Foster effective relationships with project teams, clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Review and process submittals
  • Manage subcontractor proposal requests, scope reviews, and issuing of subcontracts
  • Participate in monitoring schedule of field and subcontractor progress
  • Issue large purchase orders
  • Assist in coordinating safety programs and oversee job site safety reviews
  • Coordinate all job correspondence
  • Identify opportunities for future projects and network internally and externally to pursue such opportunities
  • Responsible for project closeouts
  • Reinforce the company's core values in how project work is performed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Science Management, Architectural Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • Equivalent technical training and related experience will be considered
  • Minimum of 4 to 6 years' technical or administrative experience in HVAC, piping, and plumbing at a commercial, industrial, or institutional level

Benefits and Compensation:

The range for this position has been established at $75,760 to $107,011 per year and is U.S. Engineering's good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting.

The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.

Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck.
